In Singapore, there are 3 types of Pittas that can be found, 2 are winter migrants, and 1 a native. Recently I had been on the hunt for all 3 of them, and manage to capture all 3, including the rarely sighted Mangrove Pitta.
Hooded Pitta (Pitta sordida), winter migrant
Mangrove Pitta (Pitta megarhyncha), rare native of Singapore
Blue Winged Pitta (Pitta moluccensis), winter migrant

Where did you manage to photograph all these pitta, especially the Mangrove Pitta?
Hi Timothy, the Pittas can be found in several location in Singapore such as botanical gardens, bidadari, Pasir Ris park , Pulau Ubin etc. The mangrove pitta was shot at Pasir ris park
